In a statement, the authorities have indicated that the new senior positions are “experienced administrative officials with leadership and management skills.” “I have full confidence that they will continue to serve the community with professionalism in their new positions,” the text states.

Lee, who was ‘number two’ for the Hong Kong head of government, Carrie Lam, already assured after being named his successor that he “will help those in need” and will work to “unite society” and “build a Hong Kong with hope and opportunities, as well as an inclusive culture of care”.
