just yesterday they were AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition drivers available in version 23.2.1 which were finally compatible with the AMD Radeon RX 6000 and earlier. But it seems that this new version comes with a bug that affects the APU included in the AYANEO 2 and GEEK consoles which include an AMD Ryzen 7 6800U. This update reduces the available video memory to just 512 MB.
So has notified own AYANEO on its website, explaining that this new update includes a bug that reduces the amount of VRAM and how to avoid it for those who haven’t upgraded yet. To avoid this problem if you haven’t upgraded yet, you should leave factory reset option unchecked when updating, and then install the update. If you have already installed it, you will have to look in the task manager, in the performance section, if the available memory is 3 or 6 GB, otherwise you have this problem.
If you do not have this amount, it will touch you perform a BIOS update following the tutorial that has been left at the end of this ad, differentiating for each AYANEO 2 and AYANEO GEEK model. For now, other AYANEO consoles based on older processors do not have this problemso it seems to only happen with RDNA 2 based graphics.
