Some time ago we told you Netflix plans to attract users after his first time losing subscribers. These plans included a system to add households for an increase in the monthly fee that allowed other houses to view the content of the platform in a legal. There was also talk of include advertising to offer a cheaper plan a month, plan that will finally arrive in Spain next November 10.
The plan they have called Basic with ads it adds to the currently available Basic, Standard and Premium that lack advertising. Will be available next November 10 from 5:00 p.m. at a price of 5.49 euros. The plan will include pretty much the same as the basic ad-free plan, but with a few changes:
- The quality will be limited to 720p/HD, the same quality as the basic ad-free plan.
- It will count 4 to 5 minutes of advertising for every hour of viewing.
- Some titles will not be available due to licensing restrictions, something that is being worked on.
- Downloads are not possible.
The ads initially will last 20 seconds and will be visible before the movies and series, as well as during their reproduction. They also remind us that this has been possible thanks to Microsoft management for advertisingwho has been able to bring this project to life just 6 months after announcing it.
