Rise of the Triad It was a game that achieved great success when it was launched in 1994 by 3D Realms (creators of, among others, the mythical Duke Nukem 3D). It was a first-person shooter or FPS with touches of platforms with a 3D graphics engine with sprites and great violence when eliminating enemies.
Now, almost 30 years later, the new Rise of The Triad: Ludicrous Edition returns in a remastered version with support for PC and current consoles, adapted to current widescreens and with support for resolutions up to 4K.
The original game is included along with all the expansions, in addition, support for controllers and the current key mapping with WASD and mouse have been added. New content such as weapons and maps, and a multiplayer game system have also been added.
In addition, recalling those times where the developers offered a demo to test the game, Apogee Entertainment has published a “Shareware Demo” on steam in which we can play four levels, one for each episode of Rise of The Triad.
It will hit the market on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series X and S and even the Nintendo Switch for a price of $20 on July 31.
