Little by little we are getting closer to the imminent launch of Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZEROthe next video game inspired by the anime Toei Animation. The character roster is almost complete, but there are still some unnamed slots. Now, those responsible have just revealed the identity of new fighters.
The title based on the manga by Akira Toriyama will have a total of 164 characters in the initial roster, although the developers have already confirmed that there will be more than 20 DLC fighters arriving after the official launch.
To make the wait more enjoyable, Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft They shared a new preview that shows some of the fighters who will arrive on the battlefield. There are familiar faces that appeared in the previous title in the saga, but the addition of new characters was also confirmed.

In the new official trailer, the developers revealed 12 characters that will be in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. While some have already appeared in other previews, this is the first time we see them in action. As we said, there are familiar faces and new fighters who debuted in the anime Dragon Ball Super.
Regarding the classic characters, we can play as Vegito Super Saiyan, Mr. Satan, Dabura, Yajirobe and Spopovich. Diehard fans will remember very well that these fighters appeared in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 2007, so his addition to the roster is not that surprising.
On the side of the new fighters, there are striking surprises. The advance confirmed Goku Black Super Saiyan Rosé, Anilaza, Jiren, roasie, Future Trunks (Super), Goku Ultra Instinct (Sign) and Ribrianne. These characters made their first appearance in the anime and manga of Dragon Ball Super.
The preview was disappointing for fans who were waiting for the reveal of the rumored fighters of Dragon Ball GT. Without a doubt, the addition of Ribrianne, who is easily one of the most hated characters in Dragon Ball Super due to his annoying participation in the Tournament of Powerraised the eyebrows of a sector of the community.
