The Ministry of Labor starts an exhibition at the G20 Forum


The Ministry of Labor organizes an exhibition as a showcase of employment issues promoted by the Indonesian Presidency of the G20. This exhibition represents the main theme and the four priority issues that have been discussed at the meeting of the G20 Employment Working Group (EWG).

“The aim is to show that the Indonesian Presidency of the G20 is not only a technical concept, but also a model to follow, as echoed in the forum of the G20 EWG meeting,” said the Human Resources Minister, Ida Fauziyah, after visiting the G20 Labor and Employment Ministers Meeting (LEMM) Exhibition in Badung, Bali on September 12.

The Human Resources Minister said that the Indonesian Presidency of the G20 embraces the theme “Recover Together, Recover Stronger”. Meanwhile, in the field of employment, we are dealing with our main theme “Improving the employment condition to recover together”.

Jobs and Skills Summit 2022: trade is part of the solution

According to the Minister of Human Resources, the Indonesian Government’s vision of the recovery of the world economy, as well as the forecast of a series of global employment dynamics, requires collaboration and cooperation among all nations.

“Since collaboration and cooperation will accelerate and ensure inclusion, no country will be left behind in the development process,” Minister Ida Fauziyah explained.

The G20 Presidency series of events in the field of employment was held from 12 to 14 September in Bali. This series of events consists of the sixth meeting of the G20 Employment Working Group, the 2022 G20 OSHNet Annual Meeting and the G20 Labor and Employment Ministers Meeting.
