The Minister for Territorial Policy and Government spokesperson, Isabel Rodríguez, has asked the PP to exercise “a more forceful attitude” with respect to the PP councilor and spokesperson for this formation in the Cabanillas de Campo City Council (Guadalajara), Jaime Celada, after of the video in which he could be seen singing ‘Face to the Sun’ with his right arm raised in a restaurant from Alcarria.

During his visit to Ciudad Real this Wednesday, to questions from the media, Rodríguez pointed out that this situation does not deserve “just to open a file” to this mayor, as announced yesterday by the leader of the Castilian-Lamanca ‘popular’ Paco Núñez, but rather his “disapproval.”

These are facts, which in the opinion of the minister spokesperson, “do not fit within the rule of law”, to which she has added that the history memory law is “mandatory compliance for all Spaniards”.

Unidas Podemos (UP) in Guadalajara presented a letter to the Government Sub-delegation in Guadalajara for the Secretary of State for Democratic Memory to decide whether Celada has committed any crime as a public official with his attitude of “exaltation of Francoism”.
