This year’s celebrities will be hiding behind some of the wildest outfits from the mind of Oscar-winning costume designer Tim Chappel.
The network announced Tuesday that three of the masked performers will be Thong, Zombie and Mirrorball.

Thong, whose costume is shaped like a human-sized flip-flop, is shown dancing and waving his hands in a new promotional video.
Zombie is dressed to impress in a blue stewardess outfit complete with yellow gloves, wild pink hair and eyes, and a sickly green head.
Mirrorball steps out of a limousine and struts down a red carpet wearing a large disco ball head with platform shoes, a cape and a mirror-covered bodysuit.

The announcement comes after the 2022 guess panel was revealed last month.
In an Instagram post on June 9, Channel 10 announced that Spice Girl Mel B, Chrissie Swan and Abbie Chatfield will be joining judge Dave Hughes.
‘We’re never short of surprises, so we’ve decided to give you three! Let’s hear it for our new panelists!’ a spokesman said.

A promotional photo shows the new panelists in flashy dresses as they pose alongside a dapper-looking Dave.
Mel B, 47, said she was “so delighted” to be back in Australia.
“Yippee yippee, I am delighted to announce that I will be a judge on The Masked Singer Australia!” she wrote on Instagram.
“So excited I can’t wait to start looking at all the clues and have fun with the rest of the panel. Look out Australia, here I come!

Abbie, 26, also told her followers: ‘HUGE NEWS DEAR! I am so excited to be joining this amazing panel of judges at The Masked Singer Australia this year.
‘What an absolute honor to join Dave, Chrissie and Mel B. I JUST CAN’T WAIT!’
Her introduction came after Dannii Minogue, Urzila Carlson and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson announced they were leaving the show.
Abbie (pictured) said it was an “absolute honour” to join Dave, Chrissie and Mel B.
Urzila left the blockbuster franchise in early May due to her comedy tour, two weeks after Dannii quit due to scheduling conflicts with her British television commitments.
Announcing her departure on Instagram, Jackie thanked The Masked Singer crew and said filming the wacky show was “the most fun I’ve ever had on TV.”
Jackie, who had been with The Masked Singer since its debut in 2019, said her co-stars Danni, Urzila, Dave and host Osher Günsberg were now her “lifelong friends”.
