The main motherboard manufacturers update their BIOS to support the new AMD Ryzen 7000X3D



AMD Ryzen 7000X3D Processors with AMD 3D Cache are here, in fact we recently published our AMD Ryzen 7950X3D Review, the most powerful processor in its range for this generation. Although these are socket AM5 processors, motherboard manufacturers are required to update their BIOSes to support this new family of chips with vertical cache.

The most important motherboard manufacturers have already gotten to work and today they have published the new BIOSes on their websites to support the new generation AMD processors with Zen 4 architecture and V-Caché 3D.

Specifically, ASRock has released versions 1.18 AS03 and 1.18 AS04 for its X670E and B650E/B650 chipset boards.

ASUS has also done the same and its BIOS versions 0922 and 1222 provide support for the Ryzen 7000X3D to work optimally on its motherboards with X670E chipset. Biostar has also published the list of motherboards that support these processors with the new BIOSes, which are basically the Biostar X670E Valkyrie, Racing B650EGTQ and B650M-Silver.

Nor is Gigabyte missing with the BIOSes for X670 and B650 motherboards.

On the other hand, MSI has done the same with the BIOS update for its existing boards, in addition to announcing the launch of its MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk that already hits the market with native support for the AMD Ryzen 7000X3D
