The collector’s edition will not be cheap at all, as it will cost $130 USD. There is no official price for Mexico or Latin America. However, to put it in context, the Trinity Masquerade Edition of Bayonetta 3 it cost $90 USD and in Mexico it had a price of $2020 MXN. That said, it’s very likely that the collector’s edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom I ended up costing almost $3000 MXN in Mexico.

At the end of the Nintendo Direct, the company reaffirmed the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom with a new trailer and confirmed the release of a new amiibo. It couldn’t be anyone but Link with the new design for the sequel. Below you can see it.

Best of all, Nintendo has finally revealed that the game will also have a collector’s edition that no fan will want to miss.

Nintendo did not specify the contents of the collector’s edition of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but judging by the promotional image, the package will include 1 physical copy of the game, 1 steelbook, 1 set of pins with symbols of the game, 1 art booklet and apparently 1 poster or lithograph of Link in the heights. All of this will be inside a specially designed collector’s box.

The bad news is that no pricing or availability details were offered. However, it is very possible that it will be around $2,500 MXN or $3,000 MXN and that it will be available on a very limited basis.
