Nintendo has revealed the name of the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is coming to the Switch console next year along with more new features including Octopath Traveler 2, Fae Farm and Bayonetta 3.

The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was announced during Nintendo’s E3 2021 conference, with an eye toward 2022 for release. Although this has been delayed, the Japanese company has already shared both the title and the arrival date.

Thus, Nintendo has announced in a new Direct this Tuesday that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will arrive on May 12, 2023, which will maintain the visual design of its predecessor and with part of the adventure in the sky of Hyrule.

Nintendo has also announced a new title from the Fire Emblem saga, Engage, which will arrive on January 20, 2023. It takes place a thousand years after the war that defeated the Fallen Dragon with the return of the threat.

Octopath Traveler 2 (February 24, 2023) introduces eight new characters who will embark on an adventure through the lands of Solistia, which will allow them to explore an immense world in which day and night influence actions.

From Bayonetta 3, which will arrive on Switch on October 28, it has shared the return of the witch Umbra, who now fights to save the world from weapons called homunculi, along with other characters (Luka, Jeanne and Viola) who have made peace with his past.

Another emblematic saga of Nintendo, Pikmin, turns 20 with two novelties. On the one hand, the game for mobile devices Pikmin Bloom, based on location and augmented reality. On the other, Pikmin 4, which will arrive next year and will allow you to play from the point of view of the Pikmin at ground level.

For the first time in the West, Project Zero: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse will arrive on Switch in 2023. Front Mission 2 (2023) will also be released from Japan for the first time, although its prequel, Front Mission, will arrive before that. A remastered version of Front Mission 3 is also on the way.

Story of seasons: a wonderful life, the farm simulation game, will arrive in 2023 with a novelty: the passage of time, which will allow players to see their characters grow and age. In addition to managing a farm, they will be able to meet other neighbors and form their own family.

Another farm simulator, Fae Farm, will arrive in the spring of 2023, with a proposal for exploration and adventure in the fantastic world of Azoria, where the passing of the seasons influences. Supports multiplayer for up to four players and home customization.

Harvestella (November 4), also a farming simulator and RPG, will challenge players to end the season of death by traveling across the globe.

For its part, Rune Factory 3 Special (2023) is an RPG that seeks to restore peace between humans and monsters, which includes simulation elements, such as cultivating fields and caring for monsters, and mini-games.

Set in the Final Fantasy saga, and within the works for its 35th anniversary, Nintendo has announced Theathythm Final Bar Line, which includes 385 tracks and multiplayer for musical battles: four players online or two locally.

Ib (Spring 2023) puts the player in the shoes of Ib, a girl who during a visit to an art museum gets trapped in one of the works. It offers a 2D adventure and exploration proposal with seven different endings.

Nintendo encourages you to get in shape with Fitness Boxing Fist of the North Star (March 2023), a game inspired by the manga Fist of the North Star, in which well-known characters will be the instructors who will guide players through different boxing exercises.

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code (Spring 2023), from the creators of danganropa, features Yunma, a trainee detective with no memories, and Shinighami, a demon who is inseparable from him. Together they must solve a crime immersing themselves in the supernatural and trying not to fall into the traps of the ghosts, they will try to make them fail.

In addition, Nintendo has announced the arrival on Switch of more games from Nintendo 64 within Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: Pilotwings 64, Mario Party and Mario Party 2 in 2022; Mario Party 3, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, 1080° Snowboarding and Excitebike 64 in 2023. The arrival of Goldeneye 007 has also been anticipated.

Nintendo Switch Sports will update to add local multiplayer golf, while Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will add new tracks: Gift Village and Peach’s Garden. Additionally, Mario Strikers: Battle League Football will add Paulne and Diddy Kong to its roster.

Finally, Nintendo Switch will feature the cloud version of Resident Evil Village, which will arrive on October 28. The titles Resident Evil, Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 will also be available later in the cloud.
