The Lebanese Armed Forces have indicated in a statement that their units have been established around the city of Shama, in the district of Tire, in a series of movements “coordinated” with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). .

“Army units have begun to enter the city simultaneously with the withdrawal of Israeli enemy troops from the area and after maintaining contacts with the committee that supervises compliance with the ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah,” they stated.

In this sense, they have maintained that the “specialized units” will carry out the necessary operations to “remove explosive devices” that have not been detonated in the framework of the Israeli attacks, for which they have asked the population to avoid these areas until military deployment ends.
