The leader of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, has assured this Wednesday that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have finally launched their counteroffensive to recover the ground lost since the outbreak of the war, which began at the end of February 2022.
According to the head of the Wagner Group, one of the main allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin, both Ukrainian military personnel and projectiles appear to be “unlimited”, according to Prigozhin’s press service on Telegram.
On the other hand, Prigozhin has reported that Wagner’s units – a paramilitary organization allied to the Kremlin – have managed to advance just 230 meters in the last day in the city of Bakhmut, the main scene of hostilities between Kiev and Moscow.
According to the leader of the Wagner Group, the Russian Armed Forces already occupy 54 square kilometers of the aforementioned town, while Ukrainian troops barely defend just over 2.5 square kilometers.
