“I apologize to the people on behalf of our party, which has failed to receive the support of the people. I solemnly accept the will of the people and reflect deeply on myself. I assume full responsibility for the electoral results,” declared the former Minister of Justice from the PPP headquarters at a press conference.

For his part, Yoon, through his chief of staff, Lee Kwan Seop, has promised to “reform the Administration” to reflect “the will of the people expressed” at the polls. “We will do everything possible to stabilize the economy and improve people's livelihoods,” she said.
