At Summer Game Fest 2022 Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, voice actors for Joel and Ellie, respectively, confirmed that they would appear in the live-action series. So far no more has been revealed about it, but Baker has just reflected on an occasion in which he spoke with Pedro Pascal (Joel’s actor in the series) and anticipated something that will be saved until the end to avoid spoilers.
“I had a great conversation with Pedro that I will save until after the series airs so there are no spoilers about it, but I can definitely say that on my first day on set I was able to look around this beautiful location…and I had to pinch myself,” Baker told comic book.
