"The Last of Us", episode 6: the HBO series almost entirely copies a sad scene from the video game

The Last of Us” is not only one of the most popular PlayStation console franchises, but now it has made the leap to the small screen with a live-action adaptation. HBO took on the project and has given gamers a product that they will remember for a long time.

The most important passages from the first Naughty Dog video game have been used for this series. Joel (Pedro Pascal) loses his daughter in the first chapters and then a giant leap is made in years to show us an almost destroyed planet Earth.

The survivors live in small ghettos, while zombies and other infected have taken control of almost all of nature and cities. The plot progresses to introduce us to Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a young woman who is immune to the infection and whose body can be used to create a cure for the fungus that attacks humans.

The scene from the series that appears in the game – Chapter 6

Of course, there are very sad scenes like the one in chapter 6. Ellie confronts Joel, since he is still a bit distant with her and she confesses that everyone moved away or died, except him. Meanwhile, the protagonist explains that she is not her daughter and that she will never be.

This is a traced scene from the video game. Through Twitter and other social networks, gamers have compared each of the scenes and have realized that the dialogue is the same.

“You have no idea what a loss means,” Joel comments, annoyed by Ellie’s words. “Every person I cared about has died or left me. Everyone except you,” she replies. “So don’t tell me I’m safe with someone else. Because the truth is that she would be much more terrified ”, she ends.

“You’re right. You’re not my daughter and I’m sure I’m not your father,” Joel says.
