The Jonsbo HX5230 tower heatsink is capable of cooling up to 230W of TDP

Following the launch of his small low profile “HP400S New” heatsink, Jonsbo has now announced a model that leaves behind the low profile to a tower format with its HX5230.

Equipped with measurements of 158 x 128 x 75 mm, this heatsink has 5 6mm copper heatpipes thick located on a polished base that carries the heat from the processor to the block of upper aluminum fins. Then, a 120mm fan is in charge of dissipating the heat of the block to be able to cool processors of up to 230W of TDP.

The entire heatsink, except for the contact base with the CPU, is covered in a black layer, even the fan has the structure and blades in that color.

The fan has PWM control and is capable of operating in an RPM range from 700 to 1,800. At full speed, it achieves a static pressure of 2.68 mmH2O and up to 83 CFM of airflow. All this with maximum noise levels of 37.6 dBA.
