The Israeli Army killed a Palestinian man this Tuesday night after surrounding his home in the West Bank city of Aqaba, north of Tubas, amid the increase in incursions by Israeli troops in the West Bank since the attacks carried out. on October 7, 2023 by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) against Israeli territory.
Local sources consulted by the Palestinian news agency WAFA have identified the deceased as Abdul Rauf Raye Hamed al Masry, 37, and have indicated that the Israeli military surrounded the building while he was inside the house. The Red Crescent has reported that it has received information about a wounded man inside a besieged house, but that the Israelis arrested him and removed him from the city without confirming his death.
Around 750 Palestinians have been killed and more than 6,250 injured in the West Bank and East Jerusalem at the hands of Israeli security forces and settlers since the Hamas attacks, which left 1,200 people dead and another 240 kidnapped. Added to these are almost 42,000 deaths in the Gaza Strip as a result of the bloody Israeli military offensive.
