MADRID 5 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Israeli Army killed a Palestinian this Tuesday morning in a military operation in the city of Tamun, south of Tubas, in the West Bank, amid the increase in incursions by Israeli troops into the West Bank since the attacks carried out on September 7. October 2023 by the Palestinian group against Israeli territory.
Medical sources consulted by the Palestinian news agency WAFA have indicated that the Israeli military killed the man after besieging him inside a house and bombing it, without being able to establish the identity of the deceased at the moment.
Later, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), which have not yet commented on the matter, have raided the Al Fara refugee camp, in the northeast of the West Bank, with several military patrols, in an operation in which several drones reconnaissance aircraft have flown over the area. Local sources have reported that the military has deliberately destroyed the camp’s infrastructure.
The operations of the Israeli Army and attacks by Israeli settlers in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have left more than 750 Palestinians dead since these types of actions have increased since last October 7, when Hamas and other Palestinian factions launched an assault which left nearly 1,200 dead and about 250 hostages. Palestinian authorities in the Gaza Strip have since counted more than 43,300 deaths from Israeli attacks.
