The Syrian authorities have denounced this Thursday a new bombing by the Israeli Army against the city of Qusair, located in the province of Homs (center) and near the border with Lebanon, with no information on casualties for now.
According to information collected by the Syrian state news agency, SANA, the “Israeli aggression” has hit “residential buildings” in the area, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has highlighted that among the targets hit there are “warehouses” in an industrial zone.
The organization, based in London and with informants in the country, has indicated that other objectives hit by the bombings are near Haush al Sayid Ali, even closer to the border with Lebanon.
Israel recognizes attacks in Syria, arguing that it is acting to prevent the establishment of Iranian bases in the country and the sending of weapons to the Lebanese Shiite party-militia Hezbollah by the Iranian authorities, which support Damascus in the context of the war that broke out. in 2011.
