The Israeli ambassador to Colombia, Gali Dagan, left the Latin American country this Friday after the Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, announced last May the breaking of diplomatic relations with the Jewish State in retaliation for its offensive against the Gaza Strip. , which has already left almost 37,400 dead.

For its part, also on the aforementioned social network, the Confederation of Jewish Communities of Colombia (CCJC) has condemned this “regrettable” decision by the Colombian president and has thanked Dagan for “his unwavering commitment to strengthening ties between Colombia and Israel.”
Petro has been very active since last October 7, when Palestinian militias attacked Israel, leaving 1,200 dead and 240 hostages.
