In the Lebanese capital, Araghchi met with the country’s interim prime minister, Nayib Mikati, and the president of Parliament, Nabih Berri, in a meeting that he described as “useful” and “good”, ensuring that “Iran is on the side of Lebanon and will continue to be. “We will ensure that the crimes of the Zionist regime come to an end. The Lebanese nation will win,” he added.

Syria has also been attacked, although to a lesser extent, by the Israeli Army since October 8.
