ASUS has updated its entire catalog of motherboards for Intel processors to accommodate the new Z890 chipset along with the LGA1851 socket, both necessary to be able to use the new processors Intel Core Ultra 200K “Alder Lake”.
They include technology “AI Advisor” to issue technical recommendations and respond to queries, in addition to AI Overclocking, AI Cooling II and AI Networking II to optimize the different functions and performance of the board. Along with them, ASUS NPU Boost technology allows overclocking the modest NPU of Alder Lake, in addition to having technologies to improve DDR5 performance such as AEMP III, DIMM Fit and NitroPath DRAM.

The top of the range model will be the ASUS ROG Maximus Z890a motherboard that stands out for the inclusion of a large configurable screen and that, in lower resolution variants, is inherited from much of the rest of the Republic of Gamers Z890 family. It has a 29-phase design (24+1+2+2) along with high-quality components and a dissipation system in the VRM and another with a vapor chamber for the M.2 SSDs
It includes the ROG M.2 PowerBoost module to expand the number of M.2 ports, in addition to having WiFi 7 and Thunderbolt 5.0 with 80 Gbps bidirectional.
The rest of the models presented are the ROG Maximus Z890 Apex, ROG Maximus Z890 Hero, ROG Strix Z890-E WiFi, ROG Strix Z890-F WiFi, ROG Strix Z890-A Gaming WiFi, ROG Strix Z890-I WiFi, TUF Gaming Z890- Pro WiFi or ProArt Z890 WIFI, among others.
