In a couple of days, and according to rumors, Intel will launch its new family of processors for desktop computers under the fifteenth generation. According to Intel's own slides, this new and upcoming top of the range surpasses the current i9-14900K in 4 games, although it remains on par in others. What the manufacturer wanted to demonstrate is that the Intel Core Ultra 9 285K can perform in a similar way to the current top of the range, but with a lower consumption up to 80W.

Intel has also compared this top of the range with competing processors, the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X and with the Ryzen 9 7950X. Regarding the first there is some games belowothers on par and in some it surpasses it, we can say that it is a tie, but with respect to the Ryzen 9 7950X3D this has been left behind in each of the technical tests that have been made.
