The most used navigation application at the moment is Google Maps, and we use it for everything, while we drive, when we walk, or even to prepare our future trips.
But sometimes it can be a pain to use google mapsespecially when we go to an intricate destination and we get lost among the entire interface: icons, filters and the pushpin.
Thanks to the thumbtack, we will be able to mark places that interest us, but above all our destination, such as the hotel for our next vacation, and when we move from one side of the map to the other, the thumbtack ends up getting lost, having to do zoom in to find it again.
This ends with the call infinite thumbtacka new thumbtack that will continue to be marked on our interface, even if we move around the map Google Maps, and has many advantages.
The infinite or evergreen pushpin is not yet available for everyone, but in our case it already works on Google Maps on Android, but not yet on iOS. Be that as it may, it is likely that by the time you read this article it will already work on any mobile device, although it does not appear in the desktop version at the moment.
How this pushpin is used and how it looks in the interface
Be that as it may, as soon as you have the functionality, when you place the pin anywhere on the map, when you move around it, you will no longer lose sight of it and it will continue to be marked as you can see in the following screenshots:
In this way, we can move around the map, and we will have an indication of where our pin is so that we can retrieve it at any time without having to zoom.
When you prepare your next vacation, and you have to move around the Google Maps map, you will no longer worry about having to retrieve the pin, because you will always have a reference to it.
