The Ibex 35 has accelerated towards the end of the session, which is why it closed on Thursday at 9,231.6 points, which represents an increase of 0.64% compared to Wednesday, in a day that has been filled with business results, including Telefónica, Dia eDreams, Atresmedia or Alantra.
Likewise, the National Institute of Statistics (INE) has reported that the number of mortgages constituted on homes increased by 10.9% in 2022 compared to the previous year, reaching 463,614, its highest figure since 2010.
With this rebound in 2022, the home mortgage firm chains two years of ascents after the 6.5% drop it recorded in 2020, a year marked by the start of the pandemic.
However, the increase in 2022 has moderated almost 13 points compared to that registered in 2021, when housing loans shot up 23.8%.
Among the values that have led this day the selective of the Spanish stock markets and markets is IAG (+4.56%), ahead of ACS (+3.85%), Colonial (+3.14%), Indra ( +2.40%), Unicaja Banco (+2.27%) and Mapfre (+1.94%).
Among the stocks that closed the day in negative, Cellnex (-2.78%) stands out, ahead of Rovi (-1.90%), Acciona Energías Renovables (-0.76%), Endesa (-0.72 %) and Iberdrola (-0.50%).
In the rest of the major European markets, the German DAX closed with a rise of 0.54%, while the French CAC 40 rose 0.32% and the Italian FTSE MIB rose 0.76%. The Euro Stoxx 50 ended the session up 0.41%, while the British FTSE 100 fell 0.22%.
The barrel of Brent has experienced an increase of 1.39%, reaching 81.72 dollars, while the West Texas Intermediate has reached 74.97 dollars, 1.38% more.
In the debt market, the Spanish bond with a maturity of 10 years has registered a yield in the secondary market of 3.437%, below the 3.505% at the close of Wednesday. Thus, the risk premium has experienced a drop of 2.1 points, to 96.4 basis points.
In the foreign exchange market, the euro has continued to lose strength against the dollar and has fallen by 0.18%, losing the level of 1.06 dollars and standing at 1.0585 ‘green tickets’ for each euro.
