The Ibex 35 has accelerated towards the end of the session until closing at 9,035.6 points, which represents an increase of 0.87% compared to the close of Wednesday, in a day in which the bulky rise of the Banco Sabadell listing.
The Catalan entity has closed the day in the Spanish parquets with an increase of 10.98%, up to 1.106 euros. This increase occurs after the firm has reported a net profit of 859 million euros in 2022, 61.9% more.
In addition, Banco Sabadell’s board of directors has agreed to increase the payout to 50% of the profits corresponding to the current year, compared to 31.8% the previous year.
Sabadell’s increase has served as a locomotive for the rest of the bank. After the entity, Unicaja Banco (+3.51%), Banco Santander (+3.25%), Bankinter (+2.11%), Inditex (+2.06%) and BBVA (+1.99%).
The stock that performed the worst this Thursday was Cellnex (-1.87%), while Acciona fell 1.13%, ahead of Merlin (-0.99%), Red Eléctrica (-0.96 %) and Telefónica (-0.89%).
Within the rest of the European markets, the CAC40 has registered a rise of 0.74%, while the German DAX has progressed by 0.34% and the Italian FTSE MIB has rebounded by 1.32%. The Euro Stoxx 50 has experienced an advance of 0.62%, while the British FTSE 100 has grown by 0.21%.
The Brent barrel has stood at 87.23 dollars, 1.29% more, while the West Texas Intermediate has rebounded 1.29%, up to 81.18 dollars.
In the debt market, the yield in the secondary markets of the ten-year bond has stood at 3.185%, which represents a slight rise compared to the 3.111% that closed on Wednesday. In this way, the risk premium with respect to its German counterparts has reached 96.9 basis points, compared to 95.3 integers on Wednesday.
Regarding currencies, the euro has registered a negative behavior against the dollar. After touching 1.093 dollars per euro early in the day, the exchange rate has fallen to 1.0867 dollars.
