The Ibex 35 wakes up with a rise of 0.7% and defends 8,000 points

The Ibex 35 has started the session this Friday with a rise of 0.7%, which has led the selective to stand at 8,095 integers at 9:01 a.m., on a day in which investors will be awaiting the appearance of the president of the European Central Bank (ECB), Christine Lagarde, in a context marked by high inflation.

In this way, after scoring a fall of 0.7% yesterday, the Madrid selective began the session clinging to the psychological level of 8,000 points, with most of the values ​​rising.

In the early stages of this Friday’s session, the biggest increases were recorded by Repsol (+1.37%), ArcelorMittal (+1.04%), Santander (+0.91%), BBVA (+0.86 %), Enagás (+0.72%) and Iberdrola (+0.69%), while on the opposite side were Merlín Properties (-1.67%), Meliá Hotels (-0.92%), Grifols (-0.85%) and Amadeus (-0.61%).

The rest of the European stock markets opened higher with increases of 0.4% for Frankfurt, 0.5% for Paris and 0.3% for London.

Likewise, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, stood at a price of 90 dollars, with a rise of 0.42%, while Texas stood at 82 dollars, with a rise of 0.7%.

Finally, the price of the euro against the dollar stood at 1.0363 ‘greenbacks’, while the Spanish risk premium stood at 100 basis points, with the interest required on the ten-year bond at 3.056%.
