The Ibex 35 traded in the mid-session this Monday with a revaluation of 0.28%, which served to stand at 9,389.4 integers, in a transition day awaiting the publication of macroeconomic data and results business.
Specifically, this week inflation in the United Kingdom and the euro area, investor confidence in Germany, GDP for the first quarter in China or the ‘beige book’ of the United States Federal Reserve (Fed) and the accounts of companies in the United States and Europe. In Spain, Bankinter will give the ‘starting shot’ to the results season on Thursday.
In this context, the largest increases in the Madrid selective were recorded by Acerinox (+2.43%), IAG (+2.06%), Repsol (+1.88%), Solaria (+1.69%), Unicaja Banco (+1.57%), Acciona Energía (+1.53%), Fluidra (+1.34%) and ArcelorMittal (+1.34%). Only Colonial (-1.01%), Santander (-0.78%), BBVA (-0.73%), Merlin Properties (-0.61%), Mapfre (-0.46%) were negative. and Cellnex (-0.08%).
The main European stock markets were also trading positively on Monday: London rose 0.44%, Milan gained 0.38%, Frankfurt rose 0.07% and Paris rose 0.01%.
On the other hand, the price of a barrel of Brent quality oil, a reference for the Old Continent, was around 86.22 dollars, 0.10% less compared to the previous closing, while Texas was at $82.37, with a slight variation of 0.18%.
In the currency market, the euro fell 0.15% at its crossroads with the dollar, settling at 1.0975 ‘greenbacks’, while in the debt market, the interest required on the 10-year Spanish bond it was practically stable, at 3.489%, with the risk premium at 103.1 basis points.
