Huawei has always maintained a strong commitment to photography in its high-end terminals. As the market evolves, however, it is increasingly difficult to distinguish yourself from the competition and it is necessary to develop new technologies or functions that other terminals do not have in order to stand out.

Said and done, the Huawei Pura70 Ultra is the new flagship of the Chinese company destined to stand out in mobile photography thanks to the combination of a 1 inch sensor with a motorized system that allows the lens to be retracted or removed.

The mechanism promises a durability of 300,000 complete movement cycles and is made up of different gear wheels working at the same time.

This mechanism also allows the lens aperture to be varied, moving between an aperture of F/1.6 to one of F/4.0

Along with this curious camera, the Huawei Pura70 Ultra integrates a 3.5x fixed telephoto lens (90mm focal length) with an F/2.1 aperture and optical stabilization for its 50 MP sensor. It also lacks a 40 MP wide angle with a 13 mm focal range.

For the rest, we have an 8-core Kirin 9010 SoC, satellite connectivity, 5,200 mAh battery, 100 W wireless and 80 W wireless fast charging. All this under the command of HarmonyOS 4.2 and a 6.8-inch OLED LTPO screen with FullHJD resolution and 120 Hz.

Its price starts at $1,400 for the variant with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, while the more capable model of 16 GB and 512 GB respectively will cost $1,550. These prices are direct conversions, since, at least for now, it will only be launched in China.
