The British Navy’s commercial operations section (UKMTO) has reported an incident near the Ban el Mandeb Strait without mentioning the name of the ship. A missile has hit the waters near the ship, which has not suffered any damage and is already heading towards its destination.

For its part, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), which usually provides details about these actions, has not commented on the matter at the moment.

The insurgents, backed by Iran, have controlled Yemen’s capital, Sanaa, and areas of the country’s north and west since 2015.
