The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Valeri Zaluzhni, has acknowledged in an interview that attacks have been carried out on Russian soil.
“It is not our problem and we are the ones who decide how to kill this enemy. It is possible and necessary to kill on its territory when we are at war,” Zaluzhni said in an interview with the American newspaper ‘The Washington Post’.
Zaluzhni has clarified that all the weapons used in these war actions on Russian soil are Ukrainian and not the military equipment delivered by its allies, sent on the condition that it is not used to attack Russian territory.
“In case our partners are worried about whether we use their weapons, I will tell them that we use our own (…). Why do we have to ask permission from anyone to save my people with actions in enemy territory?”, he argued. .
