A series that will come with the new processor Google Tensor G5 designed completely by Google and to which it seems that they have added a new MediaTek modem, the T900.
The new Google Tensor G5 will have a completely new design from the manufacturer, instead of using Samsung designs with some customization. These They will be manufactured by TSMC and they will include this new modem that has not yet been announced by MediaTek. For now It is not known what features this new model will have.nor what connectivity options it will offer, but Google will have its reasons to have chosen this model.
MediaTek is known for offering cheaper solutions compared to its rivals, in this case Qualcomm. Let’s hope that later some leak, or even the presentation of this new MediaTek T900 modem, will reveal to us more details about this choice by the manufacturer. The new Google Pixel 10 is not expected to be available until the middle of next yearjust when Android 16 is ready for its launch.
