The German ambassador in kyiv, Anka Feldhusen, celebrated this Friday the liberation of the city of Kherson by Ukrainian troops and has reported that she will try to spend her next summer vacation there.

“Another long-awaited victory of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the liberation of Kherson. I hope to spend my vacation in the summer of 2023 in the Kherson region,” Feldhusen said on his Twitter social network profile.

The German diplomat has shared in the same publication a photograph of herself in a Kherson port in 2019, and has taken the opportunity to pay tribute to “those who bravely defend and liberate their homeland.”

The Ukrainian Army has finally entered Kherson after raising the flag in the town’s main square, an act that occurred after the Russian forces announced their withdrawal in a decision applauded by kyiv.
