The Game Awards 2025 will be held on December 11

The Game Awards has ended this year by recognizing Astro Bot as ‘Best Video Game’, and is already looking ahead to the next edition of this annual event that rewards the best titles, which will be held on December 11, 2025.

This year’s edition has recognized Astro Bot with four of the six statuettes to which it aspired, including the ‘Best game of the year’, a record that makes it the most awarded video game in an event that has commemorated Also, its tenth anniversary.

The Game Awards has also been the setting that video game studios have chosen to present their work, such as a new role-playing title of The Witcher IV, with the character of Ciri as the protagonist; an Elden Ring: Nightrein multiplayer; and the cooperative adventure Split Fiction, which combines science fiction and fantasy worlds.

This event, organized and presented by Geoff Keighley, will return next year on a date that is already confirmed: December 11, 2025, and will be held once again at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles (United States), as confirmed on their X profile (former Twitter).
