In addition to being a night of recognition for developers, The Game Awards is also an opportunity that the industry takes to announce new titles that will arrive in the future and on this occasion they did not waste the gala.

The night started strong with CD Projekt Red, creators of Cyberpunk 2077, who announced The Witcher IV, a title that will continue one of the most anticipated franchises. For its part, Fromsoftware also said that the next chapter of Elden Ring is ready, which will be a separate game from the base title and will be called NightReign.

Capcom, one of the most relevant developers in the history of gaming, announced a couple of titles that excited more than one. The first is Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which will arrive in 2026, while the second was the sequel to Okami, a cult franchise that will once again be directed by Hideki Kamiya.

Finally, the studio that created Crash Bandicoot or The Last of Us, Naughty Dog, presented its new science fiction franchise of which only a teaser and its name were revealed: Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
