“I want to apologize because we have not achieved it. I am willing to give Thailand a chance by letting the second party with the most votes (…) be the one that forms the coalition,” Pita said in a video message posted on networks social networks and collected by the newspaper ‘The Strait Times’.

Last Thursday, Pita obtained 324 of the 375 votes he needed for the investiture and only obtained the support of 13 senators.
