Just yesterday we were talking about NVIDIA’s intention to launch new RTX 40 series GPUs, possibly the RTX 4060 Ti and the RTX 40. The RTX 4070 Ti have been the last graphics to hit the market at the beginning of this year 2023 and what They have been made in the form of custom models by manufacturers, without a founders version.
However, following some leaked images, it seems that the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 will arrive in a Founders Edition version with the company’s characteristic design. At the moment there is no confirmation or official presentation, so you have to take these images with some caution, since it could be a “fake”. However, the design does correspond to what the company usually uses in its graphics card boxes.
On the other hand, with these RTX 40 we have already seen last-minute changes in plans, such as the cancellation of the 12 GB RTX 4080 to launch under the name of the RTX 4070 Ti, so it cannot be ruled out that this RTX 4070 “Founders Edition” may never see the light of day.
From the box you can see that the alleged RTX 4070 FE will be 11.2 cm wide and will use a 16-pin PCIe 5.0 connector.
It is expected that this card will also use the AD104 GPU that we already saw in the RTX 4070 Ti, with a TDP of 200 W and 5,888 CUDA Cores, although we will have to wait for its arrival on the market to find out if they are finally fulfilled.
