The foreign vote in the province of Ciudad Real certifies the absolute majority of Emiliano García-Page

After concluding the scrutiny of the foreign vote in the province of Ciudad Real – known as the CERA vote – the absolute majority of the socialist Emiliano García-Page in Castilla-La Mancha has been certified. The PSOE has obtained 191 votes in the recount of the foreign vote, compared to 125 for the PP, 88 for Unidas Podemos, 55 for Vox, and 24 for Ciudadanos.

In this way, the PSOE is left with 125,306 votes in the province of Ciudad Real, ahead of the PP, which has obtained a total of 92,873, well ahead of the 32,247 that Vox has, the 9,706 of Unidas Podemos and the 2,431 that it has achieved. CS. With the final count, the PSOE exceeds 47.03 percent of the vote in the province of Ciudad Real and exceeds the barrier of 125,000, while the PP drops to 34.86 percent.

With these results, it is certified that the PSOE wins four of the seven deputies in this constituency, which allows it, with a total of 17 deputies, to maintain an absolute majority and thus certifying the results of election day last Sunday, May 28.
