Welcoming the visit of the Director-General of the WTO to Vietnam, the Vietnamese Foreign Minister expressed his belief that the visit contributes to strengthening the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the WTO.
Vietnam’s constant policy is to actively and proactively integrate into the world, support an open, transparent, fair and rules-based multilateral trading system, with the WTO at the core, he said.
He highly appreciated the leadership role of the Director-General in shaping the political priorities of the WTO in order to enhance the organization’s role in the multilateral trading system, strengthen its links with other international organizations and promote the reform process. of the WTO and the recent successful holding of the 12th WTO Ministerial Conference in June 2022.
