It seems that the name of what will be the OnePlus folding terminal has been leakedand although we are used to many of these terminals being called “Fold” or “Flip”, or some variation of either of these two, we find, according to the latest leak on Twitter, that the name with which the folding terminal will have from OnePlus will be different, maybe even weird.
Without further ado, as we see under these lines, OnePlus’ folding terminal will be called OnePlus Open, a name that, although it makes some sense as it is a terminal that we will have to open, in addition to being a name that brings some differentiation to the folding terminal market, It is still a name that we have not seen so far used in this sense.
One of the main advantages of a completely different name, as we mentioned, is that it will be an easier way to build a brand image within the folding terminal market, a possible consideration from the company’s marketing department.
However, it is possible that as generations of this terminal come out, the name may sound a little weirder, especially with a number next to it, but this will be seen later over the years.
