The Federal Coordinator of the United Left has ratified with 89% the decisions and agreements previously adopted by the leaderships of their federations, as well as the result of the primaries where they would have been necessary, to appoint the candidates that correspond to IU in the add lists
This ratification, according to the formation, has had the support of 89% of the people who on this occasion have voted electronically and who make up the Federal Coordinator (97 votes), with 7% against (8 votes), while 4% have abstained (4 votes).
In the last meeting held on Sunday, June 4, the report on the political situation was approved, which analyzed the result of the local elections of 28M, and the calendar and regulations of the primaries for the 23J referendum. In addition, the federal coordinator, Alberto Garzón, formally informed the highest governing body of the IU of his decision not to stand as a candidate for the next elections.
