This summer, the Estepona City Council parted with the ownership of several properties in the Puertosol building, very close to the marina. According to the mayor José María García Urbano (PP), it was necessary to sell assets to pay off the municipal debt, for which a quick procedure was articulated: urgently, some 2,000 square meters were released, corresponding to two premises on the ground floor, a mezzanine and an office , as well as 26 parking spaces, and were put up for auction. Five months later, in the middle of summer, the premises ended up in the hands of Omega 93, Gestión y Servicios, SL, a management company of Bonifacio Solís, a well-known builder in the area, although the City Council continues to occupy the premises while waiting to complete its move to a new headquarters.
