Although initially the governor of Donetsk, Denis Pushilin, indicated that the incident occurred due to the explosion of an anti-personnel mine, the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zajarova, indicated that it was a “selective bombing” against them, which is the same version that they maintain from Lugansk.
