The roadmap that Bethesda Softworks has presented (and that you can see at the end of the news) has as its central element the launch of the Gold Road chapter, which will arrive on June 3 on PC and on June 18 of the same month on Xbox and PlayStation. However, it will not be necessary to wait until then to get your hands on it. Starting today, The Elder Scrolls Online players have free access to the Gold Road prologue. The prologue, which begins after accepting the start of the mission titled Prisoner of Destiny in the Crown Shop, allows you to meet new characters and begin to discover the background of this new chapter.
“In this new mission, you will have to join forces with Hermaeus Mora's agent Leramil the Wise, to find the mysterious Torvesard, who is getting closer and closer to finding his lady, the forgotten princess Ithelia,” says the synopsis of the prologue of Gold Road, a chapter that will allow you to explore the Colovian region of the Western Forest. “Throughout the adventure, you will uncover ancient secrets related to the return of the all-powerful Princess Ithelia, secrets that could cause disaster in Tamriel and Oblivion.”
The Elder Scrolls Online 10th anniversary roadmap includes several in-person events, such as the one now taking place in Amsterdam, the one that will take place in Sweden in June or the one in North America in 2025. It also includes the arrival of the game to GeForce Now, where it is already available, updates for the house system and PvP (Player versus Player) and other content yet to be announced. Likewise, during the 15 months that the anniversary celebration will last, activities will be carried out via the web and social networks.
Why 15 months? some will ask. “Well, because, although ESO came out for PC/Mac in April 2014, the launch for consoles occurred in 2015, and we want to celebrate both,” Bethesda Softworks responds.
