The dollar in Colombia traded at less than 4,100 pesos

The price of the dollar in Colombia recorded a significant drop and touched values ​​less than 4,100 pesos.

This Thursday, June 22, the currency opened at 4,141 pesos and other values ​​at which it was traded were 4,102, 4,104, 4,105, 4,112, 4,115, 4,117.05 and 4,117.65 pesos.

The maximum price it reached was 4,159.90 pesos and the minimum has been 4,085.60 pesos.

Other values ​​for less than 4,100 that were negotiated were 4,095 and 4,098 pesos.

In the end, the average price of the dollar was 4,114.44 pesos, 43.77 pesos less than the Representative Market Rate (TRM) of the day, which is 4,158.21 pesos.

The fall this Thursday occurred after two days in a row in which the US currency had slight rises.

With this behavior, it is consolidated in the downward trend, and for less than 4,200 pesos, which it has had throughout June.

Experts have said that the price of the dollar in the coming months and until the end of 2025 could range between 4,200 pesos and 5,100 pesos.

Some factors that could impact the price curve in the short term are associated with macroeconomic scenarios, to uncertainty in internal political measures that would generate a country risk and to external situations, such as new measures by the Fed or bearish values ​​in ‘commodities’ (oil).
