The photographic sensors that the Google Pixel 7, 7 Pro, Tablet and Fold will use have been leaked, a total of 4 devices that Google is expected to launch shortly.
Google’s new Pixel devices have little left to see the light and leaks are becoming frequent. A couple of months ago we saw a Pixel 7 for sale on Ebay with photos taken with a Pixel 7 Pro, although they will not be the only Pixels to come out, since Google is preparing a model that folds called the Pixel Fold, delayed due to lack of quality it seems.
The leak that concerns us now comes from a developer who has found references to sensor IDs on GitHub and has formed a thread on Twitter with its conclusions. It seems that both the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will use the same main cameras as the Pixels 6that is, the Samsung GN1, and the same happens with the ultrawide sensor, the Sony IMX381. Now both models will use the same selfie camera, the Samsung 3J1, an 11 MP sensor with autofocus, while the novelty comes in the form of a new sensor for telephoto in the Pixel 7 Pro hand in hand with the Samsung GM1 sensor (the Pixel 6 used the Sony IMX586 instead).
References have also been found to a terminal codenamed Lynx, which could be a course Pixel Ultra. In this model there is same GN1 main sensor plus a Sony IMX787. For selfies we have another Sony, the IMX712, with 13 MP.
The pixel-tablet has also been located among these remains, and has two equal sensors, the Sony IMX355. Finally, the Pixel Fold also has the Samsung GN1 as main, an IMX386 as ultrawide, an IMX363 with an unknown function and a last IMX355 that was used in the Pixel 6 as selfies.
