The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) has assured this Sunday that it is “prepared and ready” to meet ransom demands from Brazilian citizens in the Middle East region, where there are fears of an escalation of tensions after the recent attack by Tehran against Israeli territory in response to the bombing of the Iranian Consulate in Damascus (Syria).
“The FAB informs that, due to the latest events in the Middle East, it is prepared and ready to meet any demand for rescue of Brazilians in conflict zones. To this end, it remains constantly ready, with its crews and aircraft, to be present there. wherever Brazil needs it,” the FAB has communicated on its account on the social network X, formerly Twitter.
Likewise, the Air Force has stressed that the possibility of acting at any time depends on the competent authorities authorizing both specific missions and actions “in the event of any need.”
