One of the main ergonomic problems that we can find in tablet format folding terminals is to write, Well, although we can place the terminal in a horizontal position as if it were a table to use the full keyboard in one halfwhen we find the mobile divided in two on the hands it is more complicated.
That is why now, at least in the Beta version of the Google Gboard keyboardwe will have a new split keyboard mode that puts ergonomics on the table for users of these terminals, allowing them to have the keys closer to the edge of the terminal screen to facilitate typing on these terminals.
It should be noted that the Samsung keyboard for the Galaxy Fold already has this featurebut there are not a few users who prefer the Google keyboard for their daily activities in the vast majority of terminals on the market, to the point where there is even a version for Apple’s mobile operating system.
In principle we should be able to opt for this new mode if we are in the latest Beta version of the Google keyboard, so if we don’t see it and we are sure we are in the Beta, we will only have to update the application.
