The successor to the AYANEO NEXT console is already in developmentand the company has shown some of the specifications that will shape this AYANEO NEXT II.
This console will have an AMD Ryzen 7000 processor and a dedicated graphics yet to be determined. Therefore, it seems that this console will not follow in the footsteps of the ASUS ROG Ally and its AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme SoC equipped with integrated graphics RDNA3 how good results it offered in our analysis.
In fact, having a dedicated graphic will allow this AYANEO NEXT II to differentiate itself from the ASUS device and from the Steam Deck. It will also have an 8-inch screen with an IPS panel and, in addition to the analog joysticks and the different buttons located on the sides, it will also integrate two touch pads similar to those used on the Valve console.
The AYANEO NEXT II will be available before the end of this year 2023 with a price still to be determined. However, given the company’s track record of other models, it’s possibly considerably more than the €799 ROG Ally from ASUS.
We will still have to wait to see it in action and know all the details of this device.
